Summer Classes for Young Actors

Finally-A schedule for the Summer classes for Young Actors with Barbara Brinkley!!
We will expand the Young Actors 2nd Sat. workout to include the 4th Sat. as well.
The next meeting is Sat. June 26th.
Time: 10am-1pm.
Ages: 8-18 years.
We will continue to meet at MediaTech 400E. Royal Lane, suite 100, Irving.
During this program we will cover the audition process and in depth development of our characters. The actors will practice with scenes, audition pieces with a reader, improv, theatre games and much more. Our goal is to keep the young actors fresh and ready for auditions by expanding and practicing their communication skills. Teen actors will work on audition pieces from current TV and film projects.
Cost: $40 per class individual registration and payment
$175.00 registration for 5 remaining sessions-thru Aug.

Finally, a workshop just for you: the beginner, the extra moving up, the
new graduate, the teen actor, the theatre actor wanting to work in film,
the actor without a full resume.
One Day Workshop with Barbara Brinkley.
Saturday, June 19th
(adults, 16 and older).
10:30AM - 4:30PM.

The Audition Process: "Transfering the written word to the spoken
word." Sight reading, connecting with the reader, the physicality of the
character, natural delivery-don't forget to breathe.

WHO: actors from age 8-18 (experienced/beginners welcome)
